Aiden's Baptism

Below are a few pictures from Aiden's baptism this past Sunday!

First Cold

Aiden seems to have caught his first cold during his time at daycare. Other than a cough, stuffy nose, sneezes, and longer naps, you wouldn't know he's sick. He's still playful and giggly. He's also loosing the hair on the top of his head in clumps. Luckily, some new hair is starting to grow in on the bald spot on the back of his head!

First Father's Day

We had a quiet Father's Day. I made Jim breakfast, and then it was on to mulching and mowing the lawn in preparation for Aiden's baptism party next weekend. Below are the goodies that Aiden and I gave Jim.

Busy

Being a working mom is VERY hard, hence the lack of updates the past few weeks! School is out for summer, so I will have nine weeks home with Aiden (it's a myth that teachers get 3 months off for the summer-it's only 9 weeks, minus the time that I go in early to set up my classroom). Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks.

First Day of "School"

Aiden had his first day of "school" today and did fantastic. He actually napped better there than at home (go figure!) I think his good napping was due in part to him having to be up at 5:45 a.m.! His teachers loved snuggling with him, and he enjoyed flirting with them.

Since I need to be at work earlier than Jim and my start time is not flexible, Jim is dropping Aiden off in the morning, and I am picking him up in the afternoon. Is anyone surprised that on Aiden's first day, Jim forgot his bottles?!
