Life is Busy
Life is very busy for us right now, and this blog is one of the last things on our mind. I don't have time for a full post, but here's a few pictures from this past weekend, where Aiden attended three birthday parties (after partying hard at playgroup on Friday till 11 p.m.). He's quite the social butterfly! Who wouldn't want to be around him?!
Beach
My favorite thing about summer is having all the time in the world to spend with Aiden. We have had SO much fun this summer, and I fear he's going to have a hard time adjusting when I go back to work next week. Until then, we've been soaking up as much summer as possible. Thankfully, Jim's boss is awesome and flexible and family-oriented, so Jim has been able to join us on many day excursions, such as to the beach last week.
Aiden had SO much fun at the beach. He has been asking to go back ever since, as if the beach were as convenient a trip as Target! Jim and I enjoyed watching Aiden experience the beach for his first time. He is at such an amazing age. He holds conversations with us, makes us laugh, and makes us fall more in love with him every day. How could you not want to spend every possible minute with this little guy?! I feel so blessed to have a job that gives me summers off to enjoy it with my son. Remind me of that when things start to get stressful during the school year!
