Tour of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company

We had the privilege of going to tour the BAVFC with some friends.  Aiden had a blast.  His favorite part was spraying the fire hose.  He wanted to do it again!  Lucky for him we'll be going back for another visit next month.

First Baseball Game

We enjoyed a lovely (and sweltering 90+ degree hot) family day taking Aiden to his very first baseball game.  Aiden LOVED it.  He definitely has his Daddy's baseball loving genes.  Aiden would clap and cheer (sometimes for the Orioles, sometimes for the Mets) and danced to the stadium music.  We weren't sure how long Aiden would last, especially without his midday nap, but he lasted the whole entire 3+ hour game.  Did I mention it was 95 degrees?  Luckily our seats were in the shade and club level, which meant we had access to air conditioning.  Aiden was snoring away in the car before we even got back onto the highway!

Lazy Days of (almost) Summer

It's not quite summer vacation, as school isn't out till Wednesday thanks to making up days from three blizzards earlier this year.  However, the weather has been such that Aiden and I have gotten some practice doing what we'll be doing all summer.  Aiden is definitely in love with the water much more than last year, and loves splashing and dumping water on his head.

I apologize for the blurriness of this video, but said splashing got the camera lens wet!.

Is there anything sweeter

than your child wishing you a Happy Mother's Day (I know, I know, several weeks late in posting this.  But it was taken on Mother's Day, as evident by the sweatshirt!)
