I want to eat Santa's beard!

Aiden went to see Santa on Saturday. He was very interested in trying to get Santa's beard into his mouth, as you'll see from the pictures. We kept the visit short and sweet...we'll have plenty of time for pictures of Aiden screaming on Santa's lap in the years to come!

The Perfect Tree

On Saturday we went to the Christmas Tree Farm that we've been going to for several years (it's owned by the family of one of my students). We bundled up since it was frigidly cold out, and while we were on the search for the perfect tree it started snowing! Aiden was a perfect angel and wasn't phased by the cold or snow (or mommy's indecisiveness over finding the perfect tree) at all.

9 Months

Aiden celebrated his 9 month birthday on Friday with a trip to the pediatrician. He now weighs 20 pounds 15 ounces and is 29 1/2 inches tall. He had a prick for blood on his finger which didn't even phase him, and a shot which he screamed through.

We Have A Screamer

Aiden's favorite thing to do is scream. Below are several short video clips of him screaming, trying to crawl, and showing his frustration at his lack of ability to crawl. Enjoy!

Another Double

Aiden just finished his last dose of antibiotics over this weekend, and was just diagnosed tonight by his pediatrician with another double ear infection. The good news is he's on stronger antibiotics, and despite feeling sick, he's been in a pretty good mood. His pediatrician even commented that he was one of the happiest sick babies she'd seen all day! As you can see from the picture above (no, I didn't bring my SLR to the doctor...this was taken with my cell while we waited), Aiden had fun waiting to see the pediatrician!

Vote!

Aiden and I voted today. Did you?

(Aiden actually voted twice, with Mommy and then with Daddy).

Cutest Pumpkin Ever!

Aiden enjoyed his first Halloween, despite the fact that he was battling a severe cold and a double ear infection. He participated in a Halloween parade at school and trick-or-treated to the local businesses by his daycare. He enjoyed trick-or-treating at our neighbors' houses. He also enjoyed watching the trick-or-treaters come to our house!

Eventful Week

Aiden's had an eventful week. In addition to cheering on the Phillies in the World Series and being super-jealous that Daddy is going to the World Series Saturday night, he's also started transitioning to the Infant II room at daycare. He also made his second trip to the ER, not for him, but for Mommy, again!

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we went to the pumpkin patch to pick some pumpkins. Aiden rode on his first train, visited animals at a petting zoo, got to ride on a hay ride, and enjoyed trying to figure out how to get the pumpkins in his mouth.
